Glenda Raichlen

Treasurer

Glenda Raichlen is Treasurer for TBW. Glenda traveled the world as an Air Force officer, serving 27 years and recently retired as a Colonel. She presently works as an independent contractor for document management businesses, demonstrating software and providing project management.Glenda joined the San Antonio TBW in 1993. She has served in various positions at the local, regional and state levels: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Auditor, Legislative Committee, Program Chair, Director at Large and Chair Director at Large. She was selected at Columbus BPW Woman of the Year 1997 and was named the first TBW Woman to Watch 2010.Glenda chaired the Special Olympics for the island for Okinawa in 2004 and continues to be an active in several organizations. Annually she is an AARP tax preparer volunteer and is active with the Salvation Army Angel Tree and the SA Food Bank. She is serving a two year term as member of the Citizen’s Advisory Action Board for the San Antonio Department of Police.

Glenda earned a BA in Math and English from Angelo State University, a Master of Systems Management from Boston University, and is completing an MBA at the University of Texas in San Antonio.

Glenda enjoys reading, traveling, and volksmarching (from German Volksmarsch meaning “peoples’ march” a form of non-competitive fitness walking). She has two daughters and four grandchildren.
