Pat Bell


Pat has been a member of Austin Capital City TBW since October of 2002 and has held several leadership roles such as Local Organization President, Region Two Director for two terms, State Director at Large, and State Recording Secretary.

She has also served on national committees including the BPW Transition Task Force and National Individual Development Committee. A public speaking enthusiast, Pat represented the State of Texas and won the National Business & Professional Women (BPW) Individual Development Speech Contest in 2008 at national convention. A past Toastmaster member, she won local and area Inspirational Speech Contest and Achieved the Competent Toastmaster Member (CTM) designation.

Creating training programs and presentations for TBW members brings Pat tremendous joy. She has been involved in several task force groups focusing on meeting the changing needs of the statewide organization. A continued emphasis on building TBW membership, “One member at a time”, is Pat’s driving goal. Her 25 year career in human resources has been rich with many experiences and spans several industries including Consumer Products, Telecommunications, IT Consulting, Start-ups, Nonprofit IT Initiatives and Retail.

Her passion is encourage and enlighten employers regarding the unknown challenges/secrets of success to get the best out of employees. A mother of three beautiful children, she is learning to enjoy every day and treasures the rich foundation women before her have laid through their sacrifices and commitment to empower women.
